Lift Skin
This thread-lift procedure is very effective at improving deep wrinkles, skin elasticity and regeneration. It addresses the signs of aging by inserting PDO threads in a few very small injection sites. The threads are specially designed to hook onto the tissue and allow the doctor to carefully pull and adjust them to lift the skin into the desired positions.
No Scarring
The entire procedure is done without using general anesthesia and leaves no scars. Threads are FDA-approved surgical grade sutures made from Polydioxanone (PDO), a biomaterial that completely dissolves overtime. As the threads dissolve, they elevate the activity of collagen cells helping the treated areas to gain natural elasticity, shape and definition.
No Downtime
Patients experience no downtime with a thread procedure. The treatment is for individuals that wish to lift, firm and bring back the definition on their face but don’t want to go under the knife for an invasive surgical facelift. What to Expect After the Procedure
You may be required to apply an ice pack intermittently for a few days along with sleeping with your head elevated to manage any temporary swelling. While the threads settle and get incorporated into your skin, smoking, active exercise and sauna is prohibited. For a short time, you will also need to avoid exaggerated facial expressions such as opening the mouth wide, smiling from ear to ear, or stretching the jaw.
