Liposuction Permanently Eliminates Fat
We permanently eliminate unwanted fat from various body parts with liposuction to help you to look better and create a slimmer overall shape. Liposuction can target stubborn unwanted fat from specific areas of the body such as the abdomen, buttocks, cheeks, chin, hips, knees, neck, thighs, and upper arms. It is often combined with other cosmetic surgery procedures, like tummy tucks, to refine and create a more detailed body contour.

Am I a good candidate for liposuction?
With any cosmetic surgery, it is important that the patient be in generally good health. Blood pressure, age and the amount of fat needed to be removed will all be taken into consideration. It is also important for individuals to be relatively close to their ideal weight. The only way to accurately determine if you are a good candidate for liposuction is to have a consultation with your surgeon. He will be able to discuss your liposuction goals and balance it with your health to determine if this is a good procedure for you. Dr. Lee specializes in laying out a complete blueprint for your body and health needs.
Results and What to Expect
Liposuction permanently eliminates fat from treated areas so you will start to see results immediately following the procedure. Results differ from one patient to the other, but most see considerable changes after the first few weeks. There is likely to be some bruising and tenderness in the treated area and you will be wearing a special compression garment for a few weeks following the procedure to help reduce swelling. Each week you will see noticeable differences as the swelling subsides. It can take up to 6-8 weeks or more before you see the complete reduction in the treated area.
Recovery and Downtime
Patients can often return home a few hours after a liposuction procedure. It is suggested to take it easy the first few days and your doctor will give you specific actions to take, like sleeping sitting up and drinking plenty of fluids. To allow your body completely heal, you should not exercise strenuously between 2-4 weeks after surgery. It is recommended to talk to your doctor about when you can start working out again.
