Rejuvenate Your Face With Laser Skin Resurfacing

Sun damage, aging and lifestyle all affect the appearance of your skin. Treat your skin to a facial rejuvenation laser skin resurfacing procedure that can bring back that youthful healthy glow, smooth wrinkles, eliminate dark spots and stimulate new collagen growth. Laser resurfacing works by removing one or more layers of your skin, which eliminates damaged and blemished skin and replaces it with fresh, strong, unspoiled skin. Laser skin treatments are great for all skin types, and they can effectively treat a variety of skin conditions.

Different Types Of Laser Skin Procedures

Laser skin resurfacing procedures have different strengths, which determines how deeply they penetrate and the amount of skin removed. At each level, you’ll see a difference in cosmetic results. The results you achieve depend on the type of laser resurfacing procedure you are having done.  Our laser experts can guide you to the perfect treatment for your skin. We are able to use a combination of lasers and devices to give you the best outcome. We may use an IPL, C02 or other device depending on your specific needs.

Light Peel

A light peel exfoliates the outer layer of your skin. This is a good peel for alleviating dry skin, improving blotchy skin, and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and acne. Light peels are so mild you can come back for treatments at regular intervals to maintain a bright complexion. Perfect for the day of a special event to give your face a special glow.

Light Peel Downtime;

Generally patients experience no downtime with a light peel. You may experience slight redness for a few hours, but should be able to return to normal activities immediately following the procedure.

Medium Resurfacing

A medium laser treatment goes deeper, so it exfoliates the outer layer and removes the upper part of the middle layer of skin. This treatment is great for minimizing age spots and moderate wrinkles. You may also use this treatment to improve your skin’s texture and to treat uneven skin tone and acne scars.

Medium Resurfacing Downtime;

Your skin will be red and slightly swollen for a few days, then it will start to peel and flake off. Healing time for a medium peel is estimated to be about 7-14 days. It’s also important to protect your new skin by avoiding sun exposure for at least a month.

Deep Resurfacing

This type of deep treatment penetrates to the lower layer of your skin. Because it removes more skin, it’s a good choice for more significant problems such as severe hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and deeper wrinkles. It produces dramatic improvement, but you’ll also need a longer time to recover.

Deep Resurfacing Downtime;

A deep laser treatment requires about 2-3 weeks of downtime to recover, although everyone heals at a different pace, so you may need more or less time. It’s also important to protect your new skin by avoiding sun exposure for at least a month.

Hollywood Laser Peel

Our featured treatment is the Carbon Peel or Hollywood Laser Peel. It is a gentle laser treatment that is safe for all skin types and can be performed any time of the year with minimal downtime. It will help rejuvenate your appearance by diminishing the signs of aging and improving skin damage. The procedure takes off a very fine layer of skins cells, leaving you with a softer, smoother skin texture and glowing appearance.
