What is the MicroLaserPeel™?
The MicroLaserPeel™ is a minimally-invasive full epidermal laser peel that removes the outermost layers of your skin through laser resurfacing. The precision of the laser provides full and uniform coverage for radiant, younger-looking skin.
What does the MicroLaserPeel™ do?
This treatment is used for mild to deep skin resurfacing and can help treat a variety of skin conditions. When the skin is treated with a MicroLaserPeel™, the superficial layers of the skin are stripped away to even out skin tone and texture and restore a youthful look to your skin.
Should I get a MicroLaserPeel™?
If you are looking for better skin resurfacing with little healing time, a MicroLaserPeel™ may be right for you. This procedure is individually tailored to your aesthetic goals and can be customized to help target your skin concerns. Receiving a MicroLaserPeel™ is a quick process that lasts for around 30 minutes and causes little to no pain.
If you’re unsure whether a MicroLaserPeel™ is for you, our team at Advanced Surgical Arts can help you decide! Schedule your consultation with us today!
A MicroLaserPeel™ can effectively treat:
- Pigmentation problems
- Overall sun damage
How does a MicroLaserPeel™ procedure work?
The laser is guided over the treatment area to vaporize the top layer of the skin and remove old and damaged tissue. The removal of old and damaged tissue can erase the tired, aged appearance of your skin, resulting in fresh, healthier skin.
What should I expect following a MicroLaserPeel™?
The MicroLaserPeel™ can ablate skin anywhere from 4 to 50 microns deep, depending on your treatment needs. Your healing time will depend on the depth of your peel.
You may notice the dehydrated skin immediately after your procedure that will peel away within the days following. Because your skin will be sensitive to ultraviolet light after the MLP, you should avoid sun exposure until fully healed.
Results can begin to be noticed as soon as 3-4 days following your procedure, at which time patients generally feel comfortable returning to their regular activities.
